Swanage is at the start of the Jurasic Coast a World Heritage site, a beautiful area surrounded by the Purbeck Hills and coastal cliffs. An area of natural beauty, with nature reserves and parks. Yet the town offers all the ameneties of the 21st century.

The accomodation consists of an entrance hall of which is the lounge/dining room with french doors onto the front terrace with patio table and chairs,lawn and flower beds. There is a a t.v. dvd player, video, cd, radio. Also off the hall is a twin bedroom, a bathroom (with over bath shower) and the kitchen, which is well equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, and freezer. Small breakfast table, chairs.Off of the kitchen is a utility room containing the washing machine and door the the rear west facing garden. The garden has a small stream running through, bbq, deck area with outdoor seating/dining. Upstairs is a double ensuite bedroom with shower and washbasin. The property has solar water heating, but with a gas back up. There is off road parking.

Out and About

There are many places to visit including the village of Corfe Castle and the historic national trust castle. The market town of Wareham on the river Frome. Studland bay with miles of beautiful beaches and Old Harry Rocks a scenic coastal area and one to walk to from Swanage perhaps. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. For many more days out there is Poole and Bournemouth or Dorchester and Weymouth.
